Warranties/Disclaimers
UPC offers a one-year limited warranty unless specified on the estimate.
We Do Not Warranty the Following:
- Damage to the coating due to scratches, rough handling, installation, alterations, and vandalism.
- Design and/or welding flaws, such as pinholes, overlapping steel placements, or non-sealed welds, that allow moisture to build up and cause rust.
- Items damaged by nicks, cuts, scratches, or any other normal wear and tear on the item as it is being used.
- Sharp edges must be rounded to hold an appropriate mil thickness of powder.
- Tubes or pipes that have end caps expanded and do not have a weep hole have a high risk of vapors escaping the curing process, which will damage the powder finish in an oven. UPC is not responsible for the damage an oven may produce without a weep hole for gasses to escape.
- Weldments and frames with overlapping metals trap moisture and will rust if they are not seal-welded. UPC is not responsible for the rust that will build up and spread from these areas.

The Following Acts and/or Omissions Will Void the Warranty:
- Alteration of coating by the owner or agents of the owner.
- Contact with saltwater, chlorine, fertilizers, pesticides, or industrial chemical agents.
- Contact with sprinkler systems, tree saps, and entangled vegetation (maintenance issues).
- Installation of non-galvanized material near the sea/ocean.
- Not having a primer coat (required or specified by the client).
- Physical damage after installation.
- Physical damage due to acts of nature.
- Physical damage due to transportation or installation.
- Rust due to animal and/or human urine.
